If you notice, in all their other covers they were both using microphones, but in this one they weren't. So they were singing loud, not screaming. Plus the original was a bit on the screamy side too. I mean, not too much, but the chorus was a bit 'in your face' so they were probably also trying to get that effect to an extent.

As for asking Ariel to come back... I do think that it's sweet to ask through song, but honestly? It's a bit like when celebrities tweet each other. If they really wanted to, they would text each other. The tweeting is just a public show of it.
Anyway... whatever they do I'll support it. But I feel like, right now, the best thing for them to do is stay Ariel and D&P, separately. Destinee and Paris have a ton of stuff they're working on and I don't think they'd want to do it all over again when they've been working on it since, what, 2008?

Anonymous said...: I don't think any of the songs they are doing have to do with Ariel....I think they have moved on I hope they don't get back together there is just too much crap in the past for that. also the whole thing about everyone 'pretending' to like NMD is such some crap I think that the people that didn't like NMD never left a comment on anything, whenever I said anything about Ariel and NMD and how I didn't like NMD I got yelled at from fans so I just stopped leaving comments
