Notice how they changed their story around. Well, they didn't really change it, but they left out important details.

In my opinion, Paris just acts like a stuck-up brat throughout the whole video. And just like the other poster said, their story is soooo different now. Its like they dont even know what to say. Im so glad Ariel left the group. I hope NMD becomes 1,000,000 times more successful that the clique girlz. And what is paris doing @ 2:00???

I'm sure they teach people in show biz how to be charming - but Paris is definitely an A student. What a total, total sweetie. If we were as loveable as her, we wouldn't have time to read this blog. Especially at 2:00.

She is so snobby at 2:00. Paris might be an A student but probably by low standards.

I mean, of course, that Paris has obviously been an A student at learning how to be charming. Do you see?

Snobbish means "condescending". Where do you see her talking down to the interviewer? At 2:00, Paris is just flirting with the camera. (I mean that in a good, playful way. Call it "mugging for" the camera if you like.) I've actually seen girls her age in France many years ago being coached by their mothers to act like this. Paris is actually quite good at it.

Not to say that Destinee isn't charming. But Paris is just SO charming.

One thing though, I'm surprised MTV didn't send a more seasoned interviewer.

That is so rediculous. "Flirting w/ a camera"? Seriously? That was what I meant by snobbish. I'll call it conceited then. Whatever...
Yeah Paris is good at it all right...good at looking like a brat. And its not the interviewer. Its the fact that the girls just dont know how to answer the questions anymore.

Yeah, it's called "flirting with the camera". It means looking "cute" for the camera. You know, like models do. Don't you have any familiarity with popular culture?

Anyway, I guess the battle lines are drawn then. You appear to be in the minority.

It's not surprising that the majority would be in disagreement with you. After all, this IS a fan site for the girls.

Speaking of which, if what you're really angry about isn't about how Ariel was treated (which I assume it isn't, since you haven't mentioned her), then why torture yourself by coming here and viewing the girls' success?

Anyway, sorry to hear that Paris' confidence in her own appeal has so upset you.

Oh my gosh! When she asked them how they got started they totally ignored the question. They ignored anything to do with Ariel when Ariel was the one who started the group.

Paris isnt confident. She is a selfish, conceited, stuck-up brat. Ariel was treated terribly by Lenore and the girls. I come to this site because it has updates for NMD too, not just the girls. The definition of pop culture does not include "girls who'flirt with cameras'". I am 14 if thats what you mean but I dont know.

Well, now we come to the heart of the matter.

I couldn't agree more that Ariel was treated horribly by Lenore, for absolutely no good reason, and I'm as completely disgusted as you are by that. In the past I've gone so far as to suggest to the fans that we petition Lenore to step down as manager so Ariel could return to the group, but got no response, which didn't surprise me, since I never really believed Lenore would do that.

However, I've asked and asked and asked for people to comment on whether they have some way of knowing for a fact that Ariel was also mistreated by the girls, but no one has ever answered that question for me. If YOU know anything to that effect, please tell us now. And although I'm not saying I wouldn't be disappointed in the girls if it turned out to be true, it's still Lenore's responsibility as the adult in charge to maintain discipline and to set the correct example. And since Ariel was best friends with D&P for years, if it turned out to be true that the girls also mistreated Ariel, I would have to conclude it was actually because they were impressionable kids doing so under Lenore's bad example. Make that "twisted" example.

Im not saying the girls treated ariel badly . All I do know is the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. There was allot of arguing between the girls but it was mostly because of the stress and strain from the parents trying to deal with a momager who had to run the show . I really hope she gets help because from what I have heard that will be the only thing that will help the women. I think she has serious issues. I say instead of bashing though we pray for her. I believe anyone can change. Even people on death row. So lets try to forgive and move on for the girls sake.

Well, if you think even people on death row can change for the better and therefore not deserve to be regarded as entirely evil, then I think you can cut Paris some slack, especially since you're not even saying that the girls ever mistreated Ariel. You shouldn't condemn her just because "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"; that is, you shouldn't condemn her just because of the actions of her mother.

Me, I believe in science, not in "pie in the sky". But I do agree that the scientists who might have some chance of helping Lenore are social scientists such as psychologists.

To those who agree that Paris shouldn't be condemned because of her mother but are nonetheless shocked that I don't believe in "pie in the sky" (you get my drift), may I remind you of the obviously unjust nature of condemning those because of the actions of their forebears, "even unto the seventh generation", or for that matter, for infinite generations, such as in the concept of "original sin". So I will respectfully point out that while I may hope Lenore gets help, I won’t pray for her, and in keeping with the viewpoint of our secular culture, neither will the vast majority of the girls’ fans. I point this out only because I think that the repeated references to prayer on this blog risks alienating many fans.

I just wanted to let the person ,who I was "arguing" w/ earlier, know that that is not my post above ;) Its someone else's.

Why are you arguing on this blog anyway? Its about making your opinions known, but when someone doesnt agree with you,, why make a big deal of it?? I agree with just about all points. Flirting with cameras? Hehehe, that is just silly. But its obvious to me they are being coached. Thats what stage moms do. " Now girls look at the cameras,,, smile big,, make sure you mention all the big things to come and all that your working on,, and OH,, SHHH dont mention Ariel" . HELLLLOOOO dont you get it. It makes them look worse that they act like she was never there !! IF they would give her a good mention once in a while like she did with them maybe the public would be more forgiving . Just a thought.

Thanks for agreeing with me :) I agree with you, too.
